Description
There are several essential oils that can be used to help with the fading of stretch marks. It is very common to get stretch marks during pregnancy and sometimes also during breastfeeding. You are growing a wonderful tiny human and feeding and sustaining life! How incredible! Stretch marks often fade over time but moisturising can help keeping them at bay and fade quicker. I made a wonderful and nourishing blend with Grapeseed oil, Frankincense, Lavender, Helichrysum and Patchouli. You can use this blend daily on your bump and on other areas of your body as all the oils are beneficial in lots of ways. It may also come in handy as a massage oil for those pregnancy aches and pains as some of the oils have anti-inflammatory and pain reducing properties. Nature is truly wonderful providing us with so much abundance readily available.
- Frankincense has incredible skin health benefits such as regenerating new skin cells, it repairs and protects skin, is anti-inflammatory and it reduces the appearance of scars and blemishes.
- Lavender is a natural antioxidant, promotes healthy cell growth, soothes the skin and protects against free radicals.
- Helichrysum is a superior healing oil with many health benefits such as wound healing, treating skin inflammation and reducing allergy symptoms due to its anti-inflammatory properties. It is moisturising, anti-oxidant and supports younger looking and blemish-free skin.
- Patchouli is a staple oil to use in skin care as it can treat dry, cracked skin and a 2014 study studied mice treated with pachouli oil had increased collagen content and less wrinkles.
The Stretch Mark Oil comes in a 60 ml amber glass dropper bottle.
